This Hillside Getaway  is a very private 10 bedroom, romantic hillside hideaway, available for exclusive, private rentals of either 10 bedrooms (for a maximum of 20 guests) or 8 bedrooms (for a total of 16 people).

From our unique, hillside location, this villa offers unbelievable, panoramic views of the entire bay of Banderas and over 30 miles of lush coastline. Our proximity to town also ensures breathtaking views over the quaint town of Puerto Vallarta with it's red roofed casitas by day and twinkling lights and firework extravaganzas by night.

Villa Merissa is uniquely blessed with both glorious sunrises from the tropical mountains and incredible flaming Vallartan sunsets over the Pacific.

 

Nestled between the colonial seaside resort of Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding lush tropical jungle, Villa Merissa offers quick walking access to Puerto Vallarta downtown (2 blocks stroll), Los Muertos Beach (5 blocks away) and Conchas Chinas beaches (5 min taxi ride).  Our unmatched hillside location offers convenient access to all amenities while our elevation ensures privacy, spectacular views and tropically refreshing breezes.

 

Hillside Hideaway Merissa is extremely spacious (over 14,000 sq feet) and offers a wealth of private facilities:  Large 20 x 40 ft tiled private heated pool and 9 x 13ft stone and tiled Jacuzzi, amazing 1400 sq ft view and sun terrace, with comfortable sun beds and shade umbrellas, pool bar and offering 360-degree views of Vallarta, Private Spa Terrace for daily in-house spa treatments; massages, facials, pedicures, manicures, air-conditioned Great room featuring a home entertainment system with USA digital satellite, a 54' HDTV - DVD/CD with 5.1 sound surround and theater seating for 20. Villa Merissa is renown for its sumptuous, private, candlelit, dinner parties, prepared nightly our private chef and sous-chef. Full staff services included: Chef, Sous-chef, English speaking hostess, houseman/waiter and housemaid. Invaluable local information available from our hostess who can also make reservations for restaurants, local tours, excursions, golf courses and tennis courts.

Weddings and Special Events
If you are planning a wedding or small event – please ask for our Events Policies.  Events can only be arranged for in-house guests (max 20).  For in-house Weddings and receptions a min. of 10 bedrooms must be reserved and an Event Fee will be charged.  Non-residents are not permitted to enter the villa at anytime.
The Villa offers a 1300 sq ft “Terraza Mirador” roof garden featuring our 360-degree views of all of Vallarta! Perfect location for weddings and special events. (This is available only by pre-arrangement for events for a supplementary fee).

 

We do not offer an in-house wedding coordination service but are happy to give recommendations of local Wedding Planners.
