Contrary to popular opinion, private oceanfront Villa Rentals are not limited to extravagantly wealthy individuals who nose their private jet up to the VIP lounge, and have a Bentley standing by on arrival.

Here at Villa Oceana, where the Sapodilla beach definitely ranks among the ‘enviable beaches’, your comfort levels will be gratefully familiar, the pool is entirely yours for the duration; family and friends can spend as much – or little – energy on meal preparation as is acceptable, or simply crank up the barbecue and nominate a BBQ ‘chef’ for the night – with the promise of a steady flow of ice-cold refreshers … down here it’s called ‘self-catering’, and is one of our favorite year ‘round rituals.

Accommodations at Villa Oceana are arranged to create easy access to the full width terrace covered by a roof overhang, and the similarly full width pool. The terrace is outfitted for outside dining and lounging, and the pool features a chest high wall which increases the privacy levels that are established by the indigenous growth and tropical landscaping on the grounds. A comfortable living room, where the TV holds court, looks directly out over the beach, and while the kitchen is not huge, it is well equipped, with plenty of counter and storage space.

This 4 bedroom home is ideal for those with small children, as well as for those couples who want a lot of privacy away from the crowds of the resorts. The main house features 2 king bedrooms, 1 being a king suite. There is a 3rd small bedroom with twin bunk beds, flat screen tv, doors for privacy and air conditioning. It is perfect for children or nanny. There is an additional king suite that is just a few steps off of the main house for an additional charge.

The beach itself benefits from an off-shore breeze that creates calm waters which, in this location have evolved into a wide crescent of shallow crystal clear ripples that gradually deepen into the pure turquoise waters of the outer harbor, where most often a small cluster of sailboats swing at anchor – awaiting the perfect moment to continue their travels to, or from, the lower Caribbean. The neighborhood includes several popular Rental Villas, and the beach attracts small local family groups on weekends, however most of the time it is as peaceful as it is inviting. Within walking distance a most attractive inside-outside restaurant – ‘Las Brisas’ – offers succulent dining in a beautiful romantic setting; Turtle Cove and the Grace Bay shopping area provides an abundance of watersports choices, boutique and souvenir shops, spas, café and fine dining venues, while Leeward hosts our well known Golf Course, and the Island-Hopping ferry service.
