Situated on over 60 acres above some of Big Sky's beloved wilderness, The Big Sky Fire Lookout Cabins boast breathtaking views of Beehive Basin from atop the ridge with only a 10-minute drive from Big Sky Resort. These one of a kind cabins offer the adventurous spirit of a stay in a mountaintop fire lookout tower with all of the luxurious comforts Big Sky's most discerning guests have come to expect. The Beehive Basin View cabin is perched at the north end of the property with open views across its namesake-Beehive Basin.

The upper level of this cabin is an open floor plan consisting of a gourmet kitchen, dining area, and living room. A massive floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace warms this space as you entertain and enjoy the panoramic views. Take in the sunrise while eating breakfast before a day of skiing or hiking and marvel at sunset views while the chef in the family prepares dinner to refuel after after a day of adventuring. Seat up to 6 at the dining table plus an additional 3 at the kitchen island. The upper level opens to a 360 degree wrap-around balcony complete with a gas grill.

Ideal for families or a small group, this home comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests with three bedrooms: Bedroom 1 – Second level is a King Bed, this suite has the second, and middle level, of the home level all to itself, complete with an en-suite bathroom with a shower-tub combo. This level can be accessed from inside the home or directly from the exterior via the grand stone entryway leading up from the ground level. Bedroom 2 - Ground Level is a Queen Bed, this rustic styled room has a workstation and an en-suite bathroom with a shower-tub combo. Bedroom 3 – Ground Level is a twin XL Bed, this bonus room has a twin XL bed as well as a queen sleeper sofa. This room offers a bathroom with a walk-in shower that shares a space with the home's laundry room. This room is accessed from the main level of the home or directly from the outside.

Please note that a four wheel drive vehicle with winter tires and winter driving experience is required for access during winter months. The road is maintained but has steep grades as it winds up the hillside. For backcountry skiing enthusiasts, this home offers unbeatable proximity to the skin track. In the summer, enjoy quick access to Big Sky's most spectacular hiking trails and some of the best wildflower viewing in the lower 48.
