Calivigny Island is an ultimate luxury retreat that spreads over 80 acres of lush greenery. The property consists of 2 luxury villas, 3 beach cottages and a fleet of boats. Whether it is pristine white sand or something a little wild and secluded, you are sure to find what you are looking for on Calivigny Island with its two sandy beaches to choose from. Natural but secured jogging paths, encourage guests to discover the island by foot or bicycle. A full-sized, floodlit tennis court a large free-form heated, fresh water swimming pool, with swim up bar. A fully equipped air-conditioned fitness center with the latest in-weight lifting, Pilates, and cardiovascular equipment offers a motivating sea view. The giant portable movie screen offers the opportunity to see the latest in Hollywood block-busters in a variety of outdoor locations or on the large home cinema projector screens in both the Beach House Rotunda and Overhang Residence Living Room. A Yamaha C3 Concert Grand Piano with Disklavier MKIV (automatic player system), with a collection of titles graces the Beach House Rotonda and is a fine accompaniment to any reception. A Billiard table, poker, croquet and board games are also available from the Beach House Games Room as well as many other outdoor and beach games to keep everyone entertained. A nautical themed tree house overlooking Turtle Beach is sure to bring out the child in everyone.

*Getting there*

Calivigny Island is approximately a 5-minute boat ride from Grenada, West Indies. The nearest airport is Maurice Bishop International Airport in St. George’s, Grenada. This international airport can receive private carriers of any size. There are year round direct flights from London, New York & Miami. Guests may also travel to any other Caribbean Island and then either charter a private plane or use LIAT Airlines to access Grenada. Private Return Airport transfers are included.

A striking combination of French Colonial and Balinese style design, the “Beach House” provides a sophisticated retreat for 20 guests. The 10 suites with furniture designed by Oscar de la Renta and Richard Frinier are complete with ocean and garden views and marble ensuite bathrooms. An oversized Rotunda is ideal for a special dinner or impromptu cocktail party and the doors open onto a luxurious marble terrace and an opulent free-form pool. A state of the art gym and billiards room is also available for guests to enjoy. In the master suite a private Jacuzzi room boasts marble floors, hand crafted sculptures, and the indulgence of sheer extravagance.

The “Overhang House” with views of the Atlantic on one side and the Caribbean on the other, the Overhang House offers guests a chic contemporary experience. This home features nine suites, sumptuous terraces, a fresh-water pool, and direct beach access. Every suite offers splendid views and the hypnotic sounds of the ocean lapping against the shore will be sure to lull you to sleep at night. The Overhang House features a world-class collection of contemporary art and sculptures, along with the modern luxurious décor and furnishings by famed designer Christopher Guy.

The “Beach Bungalows” with a beachside setting, the three two-bedroom cottages provide guests with a more intimate island experience. No expense has been spared and each cottage features a private outdoor hot tub and a large outdoor terrace. Located steps from the white sand beach and crystal blue water the unsurpassed splendor truly is heaven on earth.

*Culinary Pleasures*

The exclusive rental includes tailor made haute cuisine prepared by 2 world class chefs, based on locally sourced fresh produce (from local fish market, fresh fruit & vegetable market). Gourmet items and International specialties are available on request. Calivigny offers various spots for formal & informal dining, inside & outside including BBQ’s. The sommelier’s selection of fine local wine is included as are the well-stocked in-room refrigerators, refilled every day. A fine selection of wines and spirits are also on offer at an additional cost.

*Private Island Sports & Activities*

6 sandy beaches to choose from, 2 immediately accessible from both the Beach House and the Overhang House and 4 others strewn throughout the island provide ample privacy for all the guests. The island is privileged to host a few resident turtles who come to nest. From the middle of April to around September guests can have the opportunity to witness these amazing events under special guidance.

Chartered Scuba Diving trips to explore the reefs and sunken ships wrecks along the coast line and longer day-trips to visit the Grenadines and spectacular Tobago Keys are also available.
