Middle Cay is a luxurious, private island luxury rental, just off the coast of Harbour Island in the Bahamas near Eleuthera. With a coconut tree grove, two villas, chef services and daily housekeeping, this two-acre island combines five-star amenities with a secluded location for the ultimate Caribbean getaway. The island has two docks, so guests can dock their sailboats, yachts, or rentals with ease. One dock even has an automatic boat lift. A working lighthouse adds nautical charm, a walkway winds around the entire island, and a fire pit makes s’mores a cinch. Fishing gear, a canoe, a standup paddle board, and three kayaks are perfect for spending the day on the sea. The surrounding islands are known for their pink sand beaches, coral reefs, and shipwrecks, so take advantage of Middle Cay’s snorkeling equipment to discover an underwater paradise. Our 34’ foot boat is yours daily for 7 hours, after that you pay an hourly rate for our captain. You are responsible for the fuel. Harbour Island, which offers jet ski, boat, bicycle, and golf cart rentals, as well as several restaurants and beaches is a short 5 min boat ride away. We offer complementary kayaks, paddle board, under water scooters, snorkeling equipment, water tubing, water skiing, feed the pigs in Meeks Patch, go underwater diving with a Yamaha Sea Scooter, or tour nearby islands.

Middle Cay has a total of 7 bedrooms spread out between two homes which both have Wi-Fi and air-conditioning. The Main House has an open kitchen and dining space with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a dining table that seats 8. Its living room has a flatscreen cable TV and opens to a private patio. Outside, there’s a heated pool and an outdoor shower. In the Cottage, there’s a common area with beautiful, exposed wooden beams and tile floors. The living room has plush furnishings and a flatscreen cable TV, and there’s dining at the bar and main table It opens to the patio and has three walls of windows that reveal ocean views. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a coffeemaker, and a mixer The Main House has four bedrooms and the Cottage has three bedrooms. In the Main House, there’s a spacious master suite with a king bed, three walls of ocean views, a private patio, a lounge, and an ensuite bathroom The second suite has two double beds, a window seat, and an ensuite bathroom. The third suite has two twin beds, ocean views, and a hall bath. The fourth suite has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. In the Cottage, there’s a king suite with exterior access, ocean views, and an ensuite bathroom. The second suite has two double beds, exterior access, and an ensuite bathroom. The third suite is ideal for children, with a twin bunk, trundle bed, and a half bath in the hall.

Daily housekeeping is provided. Middle Cay is highly accessible. From the airport, its a five-minute taxi ride to the nearest dock and then a two-minute boat ride to Middle Cay. This island provides the ultimate in privacy and luxury, as well as easy access to activities and provisions. Please Note - Listing includes BOTH the homes on the cay, DAILY housekeeping. Boat rides to Harbour Island or North Eleuthera. Also includes daily activities on our boat. Guests are responsible for the fuel used on the boat during their stay. Docking(for folks bringing their own boats/yachts), boat rental and event fees are separate if needed. All areas of the island are open for guests. There are direct flights from Miami, Ft Lauderdale and Atlanta. From Nassau about 7 flights daily to ELH. Southern air, Pineapple Air, Bahamas Air. There is also a fast ferry from Nassau to Harbour Island. There are regular scheduled flights from Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Atlanta, La Guardia and Newark. Jet Blue, Delta, United, American and Silver Air all fly into ELH. 7 daily flights from Nassau on Bahamas Air, Southern Air and Pineapple Air.
