Lake Vernon provides access to a fun-filled day of boating through various lakes and canals right into the downtown of Huntsville. Here you can dock at Boston Pizza, or the town docks to enjoy an afternoon perusing small shops and treating yourself to homemade Gelato or a famous Beavertail! In the winter find Hidden Valley Ski resort less than 15 minutes away.

Deerview is 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom vacation cottage and accommodates up to 8 guests. Nestled on the shores of Lake Vernon, Deerview provides a sandy beach waterfront, complete with Muskoka chairs and a firepit, ideal for evenings under the stars. A private dock extends out into the tranquil lake, while two large decks with glass railings and LED lighting offer breathtaking views of the water and surrounding landscape. The cottage features a variety of sleeping arrangements to suit all guests. The upper level houses the primary bedroom, which boasts a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, two desks with chairs, and a cozy sofa. Three additional bedrooms are located on this level, offering a mix of queen-size and double beds. The fifth bedroom, also with a king-size bed, is conveniently situated on the main level and includes a walkout to the deck.

The heart of Deerview is the great room, which greets you with awe-inspiring floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase panoramic views of Lake Vernon. The room is centered around a towering stone fireplace and furnished with an oversized luxury sofa and armchairs, creating a warm and inviting space for relaxation. Walkouts on either side lead to the "Beach Side" and "Dock Side" areas of the property, ensuring seamless indoor-outdoor living. The dining area comfortably seats 8, and the fully equipped kitchen features a 6-burner stove, an island with barstool seating for 2, and all the amenities needed to prepare gourmet meals. For additional comfort, the property includes air conditioning, satellite TV, and a generator.

Deerview offers plenty of outdoor activities to keep guests entertained. The property comes with a kayak and two canoes, perfect for exploring the pristine waters of Lake Vernon. For adventure enthusiasts, a treetop hiking experience is located nearby.
