When you enter the gated estate, you can grasp the size of this 4 ½ acre private residential retreat in front of you. Follow the cedar lined lane through the peach orchards. First you will reach ample parking for many modes of transportation. Next the introvert rear side of the villa presenting itself with the kitchen window and the red front door. Chinese stepping stones lead you in a sensory journey through the grounds. On your left the Bench garden with many different roses, grasses and trees is an ideal location for meditation and reflection.

Returning to the lawn we continue our walk around the villa. Vast and impressive lake views, flowering beds, massive trees, nature at its magnificence. Watch the lazy sail boats drift by, marvel at dare-devil speed boats. Sunsets blaze from the multi-level terrace. Stunning local firework displays. Walking on the lake side garden you encounter Echinacea flowers, roses, walnut tree, acer tree and papa & mamma fir. Continue the garden walk entering the Japanese garden with its solar Japanese lanterns, roses, bonsai and Chinese guard shrines, solar illuminated. This is one of the six shrines protecting the corners around the villa. Together with our six Xi’an warriors depicting the hidden armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China: we are safe.

Ground Floor:

Opening the red front door you will step into the hall. On your right is the fully equipped kitchen with all the luxuries such as a Wolf oven and other high grade appliances. On your left is the western bedroom with a king size bed and an ensuite bath room. Opening the sliding glass doors take a seat in the deck chairs at the south terrace with a look at the meditation area. Back into the hall you enter the living room: a breath taking glass experience. A 100% glass front at the ground and first floor at the lakeside front. Enjoy the transparency and lightness of the living room. Indulge in your privacy, luxury retreats and romance. Dance, because nobody can see you. You are living on the edge of the clay cliffs, high above the Okanagan Lake. Look at the photos of the gorgeous living room! And compare the clay cliff wall around your fire place with the real hodoo in front of you. Around the corner is the dining area close to the kitchen for 6 persons.

In front of the living room at the lakeside west terrace you are drinking and sunbathing in your deck chairs. Digesting breath taking views into the Okanagan Lake. For lunch, dinner and barbeque you take a seat at the granite table in front the Japanese garden. From our second gate you can take a seven minutes` walk to a silent public beach immediately down the cliffs. If you like the crowded beach with its sun beds, umbrellas, beach bars and restaurants it will take you a seven minute drive. Or you decide to take a walk or a bike on The Kettle Valley Trail, just below our real estate. And visit several wineries or enjoy the gorgeous historical landscape along the Okanagan Lake.

Let`s go back inside our glass palace. From our living room you step into the master bedroom. From the king size bed with memory foam mattress you are looking deep down into downtown illuminating Penticton. In the ensuite master bath room you can relax in the Jacuzzi bath and under the hydro massage system (waterfall, chroma therapy color cycles and body jets).

First Floor:

Climb the staircase up the first floor. Relax either in the cinema area (digital & cable television, DVD). Or in the atrium library at the open glass vestibule with its walk & sitting area above the ground floor. Our third bed is a queen size bed at the atrium with its own third bath room. Or go for a relaxation at the (partly covered, partly open air) patio with its outdoor lifestyle furniture for sunbathing, cocooning or reading. From this patio terrace you are sensationally looking down into the Okanagan Lake and Penticton.

Basement:

The villa has a cellar, where you can use the Miele washing machine and the dryer. Here you can store your suitcases and wines. Villa Orion is an unmatched luxury retreat designed for high standards and exquisite taste.
