Papaya Cottage in West Bay, Grand Cayman is directly oceanfront and architecturally identical to the other 3 cottages surrounding it. Each floor plan opens to the sea with a pergola over the front porch that provides an elevated private outdoor lounging space for guests. The two en-suite bedrooms are in separate wings of the cottage for maximum privacy and offer direct access to the pergola/porch, as well as ocean-facing windows. A roll-away is available for each cottage. There is 1 King and 1 Queen suite.

Each cottage has an ocean-facing vaulted great room encompassing the living, dining and kitchen areas. The professionally-decorated interiors are soothing and use modern materials. Each of the bathrooms is glass-tiled and offers luxury amenities. The king master suite includes a large jacuzzi bathtub and stand-alone rain shower wall while the queen suite has a rain shower and European tub combination.

The kitchen is outfitted with stainless appliances including a side-by-side refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, electric range/oven, and many small appliances. The kitchens are fully stocked with plates, glassware, flatware and serving pieces. Each cottage also has a full washer/dryer, personal safe, WiFi and multiple TVs. Living room TV has cable TV service, while bedrooms are equipped with Apple TV only for streaming movies, Netflix, Hulu, etc.

While it has a sandy beach, that is raked periodically, our beach is not a barefoot swimming beach. However, we provide guests both snorkeling equipment and complimentary water shoes for exploring.

Located just 10 minutes from Seven Mile Beach, guests can enjoy all the resorts, water-sports, restaurants and leisure activities the area has to offer. The shoppes of George Town & Camana Bay are also only a short drive away.

Famous Ristorante Pappagallo is within walking distance while the new Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa is less than 10 minutes away by cab. Barkers Beach, an oceanfront nature conservancy home to nesting turtles, birds, and other fauna is a short 5-minute walk away.
