With plenty of opportunity for privacy and socializing together when congregating in the magnificent Great Lodge for meals and relaxation. This property also works well for one or two couples to stay in, having the whole estate privately to themselves for a quiet luxurious escape.

Swimming Pool

Coral stone steps lead down from the Great Lodge verandah and garden to the 45ft x 15ft swimming pool Surrounded by a generous coral stone terrace, this pool has a shady gazebo at one end and a raised hard wood decked area at the other. Being an infinity pool, the view from the pool over Hope Bay is truly spectacular. The fresh water is cleaned by a salt sanitizer.

Hope Villa (Can be rented independently)

Hope is a modern pristine villa with 4 double bedrooms each with a private bathroom and dressing room. The main living space downstairs has at its centre a beautiful wooden staircase flanked by a spacious lounge and study. The lounge leads on to a sleek modern kitchen and a practical laundry and utility area. The 40ft x 15ft salt water infinity pool appears to have been carved from a piece of coral and sits overlooking the bay. A wide, enclosed pool deck with 8 sun loungers faces the sumptuous views over the bay and features gazebos at either end.

There is no road down to Hope Bay, only a track, ensuring that it retains its extraordinary wild and remote feel. The beach itself is about a quarter of a mile long with a backdrop of an old coconut tree plantation. The sea temperature is always warm but being on the Atlantic side, the waves are sometimes very exciting.

Colorful and Remote: The property is situated on the edge of Mount Pleasant overlooking Hope Bay, arguably one of the best and most exclusive locations on Bequia. This site has the ideal combination of relatively flat land at the top for the buildings and gardens, then below this the land slopes down providing excellent separation and privacy.

All the planting has been carefully selected for its suitability to the site and has been sourced locally. The gardens include Frangipani, palm, mahogany and fruit trees. Scented plants include jasmine and there is plenty of local color such as hibiscus, periwinkle and plumbago. Garden and exterior pathways are lit by a dawn 'til dusk automated lighting system.

Magnificent Kitchen Facilities: A fully-fitted working kitchen with stainless steel units and stone worktops, range cooker, double fridge, freezer and coffee-maker is located in this Great Lodge offering the ideal space for food preparation and storage.

The Master Lodges: Situated on each side of the Great Lodge, these 2 lodges comprise of very spacious double bedrooms, adjoining sitting rooms, fully-fitted dressing rooms and bathrooms, one has an adjoining shower in addition to the bath. A spacious decked veranda on each lodge affords wonderful views over the sea below for guests to enjoy.

Guest Lodge: The Guest Lodge has a very spacious double bedroom, fully-fitted dressing room and bathroom and shares the panoramic views across the ocean that all the lodges enjoy.

Family Lodge: The Family Lodge has 3 bedrooms, 2 on the ground floor, ideal for children or teenagers, and the larger of the 3 on the first floor. All 3 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.

Well Connected & Comfortable: All the lodges have ceiling fans, internet connections, air conditioning and mosquito nets fitted to the window openings and all have Cable TV. The house is also wired for 110 & 220 V appliances. The Great Lodge also has a Wi-Fi connection. Reassuringly there is a back-up generator for the property which kicks in automatically in the event of a power cut.

Full Staff Service: Hope Bay is fully staffed with a General Manager, a Cook (breakfasts), a Gardener and two Cleaners. (A Chef is also available for lunches / dinners at minimal additional cost).Food remaining at the property will be the responsibility of the House Manager - guests should not distribute the food
