Saline reef is a large, airy and very comfortable villa situated on saline point at the very north of the exclusive a cap estate with magnificent surrounding views of the north and west coast of st lucia, the historical pigeon island and national park, the caribbean sea and martinique within walking distance and easy access to several beaches, the 18 hole golf course and if you need some entertainment, rodney bay and gros islet are just a short drive away. The property sits on the promentary of saline point at the northern tip of st lucia, with the caribbean waves surrounding saline reef. It is private, quiet and sheer heaven. Our motto is, "relax – it doesn't get much better than this!"

Purchased by the new owners in august 2012, saline reef has under gone a considerable and upscale renovation and refurbishment both inside and out, with only the best quality of workmanship and hand made furnishings and soft furnishings shipped from the united kingdom to do justice to the fantastic 180 degree panoramic views saline reef has to offer.

Saline reef has two beautiful pools connected by a waterfall and both have been completely renovated by the new owners.

There is a myrriad of places to sit, eat and drink at saline reef – all with breath-taking views. You can choose from the pool patio sun loungers overlooking the pools, the sea, the west coast of st lucia and martinique; the garden sun loungers overlooking the caribbean sea, the st lucia coast and martinique; the outside lounge seating and dining deck with its outside fridge area with two fab sofas and six person dining table to dine while you watch the sunset; the most comfortable rocking chairs on the lounge patio you will ever sit in – they do become hard to leave!; the ocean terrace dining and grill deck with seating for 6 persons to sip your ice cold drinks while listening to the waves of the caribbean sea. Or you can indeed choose to spend your time on our sea terrace with a book and cold drink in hand and get carried away by the sound of the waves.

The inside, upstairs dining area has a beautiful hand made table and chairs shipped from the uk, where you can enjoy your meals in the comfort of air conditioning while you chat to the chefs among you in the well-appointed kitchen with all new appliances, or just sit there and view the surrounding sea views through the huge triangle window above the lounge and upstairs dining balcony.this area has been designed in white, mushroom and a touch of london bus red!

The lounge – really a great room – is stunning with a light and airy feel with it's fabulous vaulted ceilings and four sets of french doors, with willowy white curtains if you need a little privacy (although no one can see you as saline reef is not overlooked!) Opening to the outside and has been decorated and refurbished to an exceptionally high standard – as with all rooms – it is designed in white, sand and duck egg blue with hand made sofas, white furniture, large screen television, cd player, dvd, and bose system - all shipped from the uk and are available for our guests enjoyment. There is a library of dvd's and we're slowly building up the reading library! There is also beautiful study area in the lounge.

All bedroom suites, inside dining and kitchen areas and lounge have air conditioning. Wi-fi is available both inside and outside on the patios, decks and crows nests.

The lower master suite has it's own pool and sea patio and crows nest seating deck. The suite has an en suite bathroom, dressing room and walk in wardrobe with private safe and iphone/ipod docking station with speakers. It has been furnished, as with all rooms, to the highest possible standard and decorated in gold and ivory. All white furniture is hand made to order and shipped from the uk. The wardrobe contains soft, thick bathrobes and slippers for our guests comfort and the bathroom has rituals organic toiletries. Thick, soft, white christy's towels are in all bathrooms at saline reef. With extremely comfortable mattresses , pillows and all-white 500 thread count bed linen from the white company in the uk for our guests to have a great nights sleep to awake and enjoy saline reef each morning.

The pool and sea patio and crows nest decking area both have very comfortable seating to enjoy all the views the suite and saline reef commands.

The upper master suite, with vaulted ceiling, has its own pool and sea balcony and crows nest seating deck. The upper suite has an en suite bathroom, walk in wadrobe with private safe, sumptuous bathrobes and slippers and again, the bathroom contains rituals organic toiletries. An iphone/ipod docking station with speakers is situated in the bedroom. This suite has been decorated in aqua and silver upscale soft furnishings with all white furniture hand made to order and shipped from the uk. As with the other suites, the mattresses, pillows, all-white 500 thread count bedding from the white company in the uk adorns your bed for a great nights sleep.

The pool and sea balcony and the crows nest have very comfortable seating for your enjoyment while you watch the caribbean go sailing by.

The middle master suite is a comfortable and airy room and has an en suite bathroom, walk in wardrobe with private safe, thick, soft bathrobes and slippers and as with all bathrooms, rituals organic toiletries and white christy's soft, thick towels. This room is designed in off-white and pale grey soft furnishings with a hint of sunset red, with all white furniture hand made to order and shipped from the uk. As with the other bedroom suites, the mattresses, pillows, the all-white 500 thread count bed linen has been shipped from the uk from the white company. As well as a great bedroom for adults, this bedroom has no direct outside access and is ideal for children.

Access to the outside for your children can be additionally restricted so they only have access to you inside – or indeed, you only have access to them inside the house!

Angel, our primary housekeeper, together with julianne, are on duty 7 days a week to ensure your stay is as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. On your first morning, you will awake to a complimentary st lucian breakfast, prepared by angel and set up on the lounge dining deck over looking the caribbean to get you in the mood for your stay. Angel and julianne will prepare your breakfast each morning from what ever you purchase; your lunch – set up on which ever dining deck you choose and will prepare your evening meal and leave it for you to pop in the oven when you are ready. Angel will of course stay in the evening to cook and serve your evening dinner for an extra fee and these arrangements should be made directly with angel herself. Angel and julianne will wash any clothes you leave for them as part of your stay at saline reef , and for a small additional fee, angel and julianne will ensure your clothes are beautifully ironed – folded or hung in your wardrobe. Please make arrangements directly with angel for the ironing service. It is great to have your clothes all washed and ironed for going home!

Alfie will ensure that all outside guest areas and pools are cleaned, beautifully laid out and ready for you each morning to enjoy the day ahead's activities. Alfie also ensures that saline reef is well looked after and maintained to a high standard. If you need anything "fixed", alfie will happily do it for you.

Special arrangements can be made at your request – for example, a professional chef; a cocktail waiter for the evening; your own private blues and soul evening together with chef and cocktail waiter – whatever you want to arrange at saline reef is only limited by your imagination!

Oliver, our gardner, will ensure each day that the garden is looking at its best, and to maintain all saline reef's wonderful flowers and plants which attract a large variety of st lucia's amazing birds, especially the many hummingbirds that live in saline reefs garden.

Please note, that our housekeepers are not trained nannies and should not be expected to look after and/or babysit infants or children. If you do make any baby-sitting arrangements directly with our house-keepers, please be advised that this will be at your own risk
