The grounds are spacious and inviting, with private lit tennis courts and swimming pool on a beautiful white sand beach, with a pathway that extends over the beach as a lovely lounging area, or a place to retreat and enjoy the sunrise or sunset during your trip.

Makana enjoys top awards from it's clients in having facilities that cater to the needs of adults and families, including an air-conditioned gym and adjoining spa room for those who really like to stay the course of health during their travels. As you walk through the garden path you'll enjoy the lovely placement of each element of the home, as it opens up to the pool and beaches below. Inside you'll find the rooms take on an indoor/outdoor feeling, one melding into another. From the beautiful living spaces within, offering plenty of sitting areas to relax on, a media room and a game room. The house really does speak to the heart of what it means to be in the Caribbean and enjoy the sunshine and lifestyle.

Stepping outside you'll enjoy a wonderful bar area with seating, someone to make you drinks by the pool or refreshments for the kids is always available. The spaces open up to living and lounge areas, outdoor dining areas and really are some of the most spectacular in the day and night. At night the outdoors shines bright with accent lighting, gorgeous well lit Gazebo and beautiful atmosphere year round. You can enjoy your meals indoors or our, no matter the request nothing is too big or small. If you have a group gathering or Wedding, please do let us know so we can arrange all for your group.

Inside you'll also find a state-of-the-art kitchen includes a commercial oven, microwave and gas grill. The talented Makana chef treats guests each week to barbecues of steaks, chicken, shrimp, pork and lobster fired on the outdoor grill. Menus will be prepared to your liking, everything discussed prior to arrival to make your meals special and delicious each day. The staff is there to make things easier and can coordiante anything you need while in the house.

Driving time from the Montego Bay airport to Makana is approximately 60 minutes. Discovery Bay is an incredible turquoise body of water that has attracted some of Jamaica’s most visionary homeowners. Makana has raised the bar.
