Domaine de Canaille Cote d'Azur is one of the largest and most prestigious on the Southern French Riviera within Cassis a wonderful seaside village. Located in the Calanques National Park, it offers a panoramic view on the Mediterranean. This 600 m2 former hotel, which once welcomed Virginia Woolf and Winston Churchill during the 1930s and 1940s, was completely renovated in 2017 and combines modernity, simplicity, high comfort and technology. A huge 500 m2 terrace overlooks a beach which accessible by foot in 5 minutes via a private path.

Its four reception rooms overlooking the sea and its twelve bedrooms (9 in the main house and 3 in the outbuilding, 24 beds) allow it to comfortably accommodate twenty-four people. The property also has a large heated swimming pool of 13 metres, a jacuzzi with a sea view, an orangery and a petanque court. There are many outdoor activities in and around the property in a beautiful natural setting. This villa is ideal for unique experiences with family, friends or colleagues!

Within this beautiful Domaine de Canaille you'll find our first Guest bedroom 1, with 1 queen size bed (160cm) or 2 single beds (80cm) shower room with toilet shared with bedroom 2, balcony with sea view and pool view window. You then come to our second suite, bedroom 2 with 1 queen size bed (160cm) or 2 single beds (80cm), shower room with toilet shared with bedroom 1 and garden view window. Our lovely guest bedroom 3 has 1 queen size bed (160cm) or 2 single beds (80cm) and shower room with toilet. Within guest bedroom 4 you have 1 king size bed (180cm) or 2 single beds (90cm) and then a lovely lounge area with 2 armchairs, 1 desk, shower room with toilet and 2 balconies with sea views. Our guest bedroom 5 has 1 king size bed (180cm) or 2 single beds (90cm) a shower room with toilet, 1 balcony with window and sea view. Within guest bedroom 6 you have 1 single bed (80cm) which can be extended into a queen size bed (160cm) with bathroom with toilet. Bedroom 7 have 1 queen size bed (160cm) or 2 single beds (80cm), a lovely separate bathroom with toilet and balcony window with sea view. Within bedroom 8 & 9 you have 1 king sized bed or it can be made into two single beds, here you have a shower room with toilet and direct access to the terrace.

On the ground floor you'll find our Ground Floor Bedroom with 1 King Suite or Two Single beds, with shower room and 3 windows facing the swimming pool. Our suite 10 has 1 king size bed (180cm) or 2 single beds (90cm), a very convenient private kitchen as well as a shower room with toilet. There is also a Large Loggia Terrace with partial Sea View in Suite 10. This suite is available upon request for an additional fee. The Master Suite features a King Sized bed, lounge area with television, a bathroom with double shower and bathtub, along with separate toilet. The Master also features a private terrace, 2 balconies with amazing sea views. If you need extra sleeping we have a cathedral living room: thick cushions that can be used as extra beds for 3 people + bay window with magnificent sea view and access to 80m2 terrace + shower room and toilet.

The villa is available for seasonal rentals, private and corporate events, and seminars. The owner also organizes long weekends on wellness four times a year.

Cassis is magical, a first-time visitor to this small Mediterranean city, will be dazzled by the peacefulness of the port, the emerald color of the sea, the steep cliffs of the Cap Canaille and the creeks and the charm of the medieval castle. Cassis has long been an isolated town, with strong connections to the sea, the mountains separating it from Marseille and Aubagne. In 1936, it was awarded the first AOC in Provence, the local vineyards are known for the production of an excellent white wine.

You can stroll along the charming marina to admire the old boats (the "pointus") and the Fish Tribunal, stroll through the old town and see the Town Hall and its pretty market square, the church of St. Michael, the charming alleys, the "Four Banal" the old community oven, extend your gaze from the port to the castle of Cassis, look for the little shrines in the twists and turns in the roads, taste Cassis wine in one of the 12 wineries.
