Chateau de Massillan is surrounded by fields of sunflowers and world–famous vineyards such as Chateau Neuf du Pape, Gigondas and Beaumes de Venise. Many historical attractions are located within a 30 minutes’ drive: the Ancient Roman Theatre in Orange, Vaison la Romaine, Pont du Gard and the Palace du Papes in Avignon.

The wonderful, authentic Provencal landscape makes a perfect place for cycling, hiking, horseback riding and canoeing. Chateau de Massillan boasts more then eight hectares of parkland, with a herb garden, a swimming pool, a pine wood and a walled garden providing fruits and vegetables for the kitchen.

The Chateau dates back to 1550 when it was owned by Diane de Poitiers, the famous lover of Henry the second. The original features of this hotel are combined with the highest quality modern furniture, antiques, bed linen and specially designed products, such as massive limestone sinks. This sophisticated hotel and gourmet restaurant is an elegant retreat where relaxation is encouraged.

Chateau de Massillan is the perfect setting for a small and romantic wedding celebration. The ceremonies are often performed in the late afternoon under the shade of the majestic lime trees, the cocktail and main meal are served in the fountain courtyard and the late night dancing in the chandelier lounge.

For weddings and private rentals we require the exclusive use of Chateau de Massillan for a minimum of a 2 nights. The accommodation price for 2 nights including continental breakfast is 10 000 Euros.

We also charge a facility Fee of 3 700 Euros. This fee helps us to cover the extra organisation costs and the loss of business on the days before and after the celebration date.

We have 12 rooms and one suite which can accommodate a maximum of 30 adults. The maximum amount of guests that we can accommodate for the event is 80. The Menu prices are as follows, 3 courses 45 Euros, 4 course 55 Euros, 5 courses 65 Euros.

For venues holding more than 40 guests we are required to rent equipment such as tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, and so on. The cost of this depends on the number of guests and the style of the wedding, but based on 80 guests, for example, the prices will start at around 2000 Euro.
