Welcome to Springfield Castle, the ancestral home of Lord and Lady Muskerry. The castle is situated in the heart of County Co. Limerick on a magical 200 acre wooded estate and is approached along a magnificent three quarter mile long avenue, lined with ancient lime trees. An ideal vacation place for you, your family and friends. A place to unwind and relax in an historic Irish castle.

Springfield Castle can now accommodate up to 24 people in what are effectively two "castles". The Castle itself and the newly renovated East Tower wing. Ideal for large family reunions and gatherings, celebrations and special events as well as small intimate weddings. You can rent the whole Castle or you have the option to just rent one part to suit your group size.

The Castle sleeps up to 14 in 8 bedrooms and has 6 bathrooms. The East Tower sleeps 10 with 3 double rooms in the tower all with bathrooms en suite, and the clock suite with a double and an adjoining twin single bedded room with bath and shower room en suite.

The two "castles" are both fully equipped with their own entrances, courtyards, hallways, dining rooms, kitchens and drawing rooms. Springfield Castle is approved as a venue by the HSE for civil weddings and civil partnerships as well as wedding blessing ceremonies.

While the castle and tower sleep a maximum of 24 guests, we can cater for 30- 40 guests for a wedding dinner in the dining room.

Springfield Castle is a unique venue, exclusively yours to enjoy. You, your family and friends will have fond memories to treasure forever.

Jonathan and Betty will discuss your plans with you and will make all the arrangements you choose. These, include sourcing celebrants; florists; musicians; dinner menus; wines; wedding cake; photography; beauticians and hairdressers.
