All the character of a 200 year old Highland Estate complete with luxurious yet understated interiors make each of the twenty six rooms a unique stay. The design of the whole estate has been created from the concept of a love of nature with inspiration from the immensely beautiful and majestic surroundings of the Cairngorms National Park, at the heart and with high quality evident throughout the whole estate.

You will find many beautiful touches in the interior design. Each piece of Art chosen for a particular reason, a story behind each sculpture and a love and passion of the culture and heritage of the Scottish Highlands. The recent refurbishment has been completed in a boutique contemporary style. There is a wonderful blend of bespoke furniture and soft furnishings, along with an extensive eclectic art collection, making it truly unique and stylish. Complimentary WIFI and satellite TV are available throughout the estate. We have a range of executive double and king rooms within the main building. Please note bed sizes are UK sizes. The Minister's Study is front facing double bed with large shower room. Located on the first floor of The Georgian Wing, this is a very private room. The Governess’s Quarters is a cozy King-size and has a beautiful large bathroom with double vanity, freestanding bath and separate shower. Overlooking the side lawn with its glorious Copper Beech Tree. The Bothy is a double double, ideal for families located at the rear of the property with interconnecting rooms and an extra large shower room. Both rooms have their own flat screen TV.

Our latest development at The old Manse of Blair is within our walled garden. We are pleased to introduce ten luxury walled garden rooms all designed in a botanical theme in keeping with the nature and setting here in the Cairngorms National Park. The rooms are named after traditional botanical species found in the National Park; Aspen, Silver Birch, Wild Rose, Rowan, Sycamore, Elm, Holly, Cherry, Damson and Elm. All Walled Garden rooms have private entrances with patio area with open countryside views. These room all have super king size beds which can also twin on request, a seating area and luxury wet room.

The Old Wooden Stable Block beside the courtyard has been converted and is a brand new offering here at The Old Manse of Blair. Choose from one of our small cozy snug rooms or our Stables Suite Schehallion. You will find beautiful detail in the design, a nod to its history with bespoke drapes and cushions depicting the building's original equestrian roots.

The Stable Snugs! We have four gorgeous cosy small snug rooms. These are our entry level ground floor rooms and are located in the converted Stables on the estate, across the courtyard from the main building. These rooms are our smallest rooms and enjoy direct access to the outdoors and a patio area too. All of these snug rooms are furnished with a super king bed and can cozy twin. They are not suitable for more than two guests. Atholl snug is slightly larger and is on the corner so enjoys a double aspect. However, floor space is limited in these rooms due to the super king size beds so if you require more space we would suggest a Walled Garden or Mansion House Room. All are named after local places, Atholl, Blair, Rannoch & Struan. All the snugs have ensuite wet rooms with level entry showers. Enjoy the privacy of the Stables Snugs each with their own entrance and furnished patio with all the convenience of the bar and restaurant minutes walk away.

The Stables Suite Schehallion is a large fully accessible family room converted from The Mare & Foal box of the original stables. It has a separate seating area with sofa-bed and armchairs. This room can accommodate two adults and two young children (under 10) on the sofa bed. An extra child bed can be added at an additional cost. Enjoy the privacy of the Stables and accessible deck, with easy wheelchair access, large wet room and dedicated parking space and with all the convenience of the bar and restaurant minutes away.

Railway Cottage is next to The Old Greenhouse and Kitchen Garden. It offers two separate stand alone en-suite rooms with magnificent open views out over the estate and countryside. The rooms are themed around the heritage of the Highland Railway Line and in particular The Black Island Platform which was situated just around the corner from the manse between Blair Atholl and The Old Manse of Blair. The rooms are decorated in a chic luxurious way - a nod to the heritage and aptly named; The Signal Box & and The Ticket Office. Look out for the detail on the cushions, depicting the lanterns they would have used at night on the railway and the axels of the steam trains.

The rooms each have their own outdoor furnished patio which is bathed in sunlight and is the perfect spot for relaxing. Please note there is an incline and these rooms are not suitable for guests with limited mobility. The Signal Box is a small double room. The Ticket Office has a King-size Bed and is a larger room with French doors to the patio. The Ticket Office is dog friendly. The main house was used as offices of the Highland Railway Company from 1853 during the construction of the original railway, so the conversion and interior will reflect this period of history of the estate.

If you are looking for a relaxed pre or post dinner drink, the residents drawing room is perfect; sofas to sink into and a crackling fire for a cosy atmosphere. A baby grand piano is a perfect accompaniment for some pre-dinner entertainment and guests are welcome to play too. The drawing room is positioned across the hallway from the dining room adjoining the Orangery restaurant so when the piano is played it creates an absolutely enchanting atmosphere.
