Originally owned by the Florentine De’ Medici family since the early 1400s, it stands on the ancient remains of a fortified watchtower, defending the entrance to the lush Ambra Valley, between Siena, Arezzo and Florence. Since 1950 when the current owners bought it, it was passionately transformed into a wine resort with five private villas offering luxury accommodation. Here life flows slowly, embracing a simple way of life enriched by beauty, love, nature, emotions, time and well-being.

From the moment you step through you’re welcomed into a private sanctuary surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views of the Selvamaggio vineyards. The suite’s private garden, complete with a charming stone dining area and a traditional barbecue, invites you to unwind and immerse yourself in the beauty of Tuscany’s rolling hills. Inside, the suite retains its historic charm with exposed wooden beams, terracotta floors, and antique furnishings, all while offering modern amenities for a seamless stay. The living area exudes warmth with a cozy sofa bed, perfect for accommodating an additional guest. Thoughtfully designed kitchenette, tucked away behind handcrafted wooden doors, provides all the essentials for preparing light meals, including a stovetop and microwave. Suite Selvamaggio has one double bedroom featuring plush bedding with luxurious linens and ensuite bathroom.
