Since 1950 when the current owners of the property bought it, it was passionately transformed into a wine resort with several private villas offering luxury accommodation. The first is the heart of this private estate, a villa that dates back to the 1400s, Villa Altaserra, also known as Villa La Selva. The stately residence that was once home to artists and aristocrats, offers seven bedrooms and accommodates up to 16 guests. This ancient Medicean villa is 1000 square meters that still retains its historical memory and is distinguished by its unique, luxurious, country atmosphere. It is an exclusive location perfect for a holiday, large family reunions, weddings or other special events in the heart of Tuscany. This magnificent villa serves as the centerpiece of the Estate, spanning two levels and adorned with authentic period furnishings and treasures from Tuscany. Offering breathtaking views of the iconic Tuscan landscape, it overlooks a classic Italian-style garden and a private swimming pool with a loggia. Within the villa lies the charming chapel of Santa Maria al Selvamaggio—a serene sanctuary that has witnessed countless love stories through the ages.

The villa offers elegant living spaces including a library, living area and a TV room where guests can unwind after a day of adventures. Living and dining area are bathed in natural light from large windows that overlook the surrounding gardens while the open-plan design seamlessly connects to a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for sharing memorable meals.
