Castles are rented out as a whole, guaranteeing total privacy and exclusivity for your group. Our offerings are always custom-tailored, making Le Torri di Bagnara one of the most spectacular luxury castle rentals in Europe. With 7 bedrooms up to 15 bedrooms (30 beds in total), Le Torri di Bagnara Castles are designed perfecctly for any group of people who want to stay together during their holidays: large, diverse family reunions, group of friends, destination weddings, yoga retreats, foodies, or small corporate groups. A professional full service wedding planning is offered to take the headache out of your special day by arranging every detail, as well as activities for you and your guests. Both our castles are authorized for on-site civil wedding celebrations.

Guests can enjoy a host of authentic experiences and a range of services including in-villa lunch & dinner, cooking classes, joga sessions, SPA treatments, fully equipped meeting rooms; a real Italian truffle hunting experience and team building in the property’s 1500-acre private estate; wine tours, hot-air baloon rides, tour of Umbria by helicopter, shopping tours, bike tours, art history excursions in Umbria, nearby Tuscany and Roma, and much more.

The property is child friendly and offers activities for children. We are animal lovers so small size pets are allowed but with prior authorization. Our castle-villas have a luxury “agriturismo” license, so they are entitled by law to host paying guests, are authorized to offer all kind of professional staff services and guarantee a superior degree of safety and security standards that have to be complied with by law.

The “Tenuta di Bagnara” estate, which belongs to my family since 1901, has been transformed through the years into a luxury holiday destination; a personal and intimate journey which led to the creation of a rather unique retreat, the labour of Love of my Mother, a visionary woman with an enviable Passion for hospitality and the energetic desire to preserve the buildings for future generations. The painstaking conservation works started with the Castello di Bagnara, the Owners’ main residence (now available for a few, very selected weddings and events), in the mid-80s, after an earthquake which severely hit the Region.

We then in the late-80s proceeded with the restoration of the hilltop Tower with Palace and converted it into self-catering apartments in Nineties, beginning our licensed “Agriturismo” journey, one of the first vacation rental businesses in Italy. From there, we restored the roofs of the medieval Fortress which is the largest castle of the estate that had been destroyed and then rebuilt in the mid-sixteenth century by a renown architect from Perugia, Galeazzo Alessi, to whom we owe the city Perugia in the Renaissance.

In the early 2000s we continued with the restoration of the hillside Castello di Pieve San Quirico, built in the thirteenth century by emperor Frederick II of Swabia, which we converted into a 7 bedrooms luxury holiday villa. No costs were spared in the meticulous and painstaking renovation works. We tried to preserve all the original features and lavishly decorated the rooms with authentic period furniture and antiques.

In 2023 we did a full renovation of the uphill Tower with Palace and converted it into an 8 bedrooms eco-sustainable luxury Villa.The manicured gardens surrounding the Castello di Pieve San Quirico (Main house) and the adjacent Tower Palace villa (Guest house), were designed by the known Tuscan landscape designer Alberto Margheriti, an explosion of colors and sweet smells, a large variety of ancient trees (oaks, olive and cherry trees), flowers, pomegrante and lavender bushes, lemon trees and the impressive David Austin rose garden. My desire and ambition is to continue in my mother’s footsteps, honoring her memory and keeping her legacy alive by offering the very best in hospitality.

Le Torri di Bagnara Castles now cater to the most discriminating travelers – those who require the privacy, comfort and independence of a real home with all the luxury and convenience of a hotel, together with the full-time attention and dedication of our highly trained Staff. My late Mother would be proud to see how far we have come and what an unsurpassable experience we are able to offer our Guests. Decades spent in PR and Events, entertaining high calibre personalities, royalties and celebrities served me well and I apply the lessons learnt in my daily running of Le Torri di Bagnara Castles.

Eco-Sustainability is part of daily life here: energy comes from our 140 kWh PV Solary Energy systems, we harvest rain water to irrigate the fields and our pool is cleaned with sea salt; we use environmentally friendly cleaning products and practice daily a careful differentiated collection of waste. We serve seasonal, traditional, fresh food locally grown in our farm and in other selected Umbrian farms and we focus on local cuisine. We are constantly working to improve the property with renewable energies, recycling, water treatment, organic fertilizer, and sustainable agriculture.

Both the Pieve San Quirico castle (Main House), the Tower villa (Guest House), and the Estate’s Offices power plants are connected to the property’s 140 kWhPV Solar Energy Systems, effectively making the entire property powered by renewable sources self-produced by the Bagnara Estate itself. The property also features water softener system and Legionella prevention system.
