Amaryllis is equidistant from Segesta, Erice and Castellammare del Golfo, on the north coast. Thus you have the choice to easily reach the Greek temple in Segesta or the Medieval old town in Erice or just relax by the sea after a short drive. Rocky and sandy beaches in Monte Cofano's Nature Reserve are only ten miles away; further north is also Zingaro's spectacular Nature Reserve, not to be missed! Whilst in Sicily, why not visit the island of Favignana, just off the port of Trapani. Often referred to as a paradise for scuba divers, this island still retains much of the Southern Italian timeless charm, with its old villages built around the piazza with little pavement cafes and restaurants. Cycling is the best way to explore the island.
