With fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the nearby Aurunci mountains, Villa Capri is a new contemporary clean-line luxury hideaway situated on the coast between Rome and Naples. The villa is nestled in a serene olive grove with 60-year-old trees and ancient dry walls. A perfectly quiet place with no traffic noise or light smog.

Shops, restaurants, bars and the Via Appia are only 5 minutes away. The famous beaches of Sperlonga can be reached in 15 minutes. The historic old city of Gaeta opens its port to the Tyrrhenian sea. It is here that the famous modern American painter Cy Twombly had his last studio, and it is here on the Pontine islands that Ulysses met Circe. The islands as well as the Vesuvio can be seen from the Villa. When you enter the house, the large 88 m² living room with sitting and eating area and the open kitchen allow for perfect panoramic views onto the terraces and sea-views beyond.

Bedrooms in main house has a Master Bedroom with King en-suite, wardrobe and own wrap-around 75 m² roof terrace. One bedroom with a double bed (180cm), own balcony entrance, en-suite bathroom and wardrobe. (Ground floor). Another guest bedroom with 2 single beds, an en-suite bathroom, and own terrace entrance. (Ground floor), then a second guest bedroom with 2 single beds, own terrace entrance, guest WC. (Ground floor).

The Pool House Breakdown

On the swimming pool level a pool house with two more bedrooms, a living room and a bathroom allows for relaxed bungalow style living. The pool house is accessible from both the main house and a separate entrance.

Bedrooms in the pool house have one bedroom with a double bed (180cm), en-suite bathroom and direct access to pool and one bedroom with two single beds, an en-suite bathroom and direct access to pool.

The Swimming Pool is a large infinity swimming-pool (10x4 metres) surrounded by an extensive 312 sqm sun-deck, which includes two outdoor showers. The house and sun-deck are surrounded by an enchanting ancient olive grove.

The kitchen on the ground floor opens onto the Limonaio, a magic interior court with an old ceratonia oak. Your citrus trees carry lemons at all seasons.

Area Information

Villa Capri is situated just outside the small town of Itri between Rome and Naples, Italy. There are international flights out of Fiumicino and Naples airport. Once there you will be greeted by Francesco, who will show you the villa and be available for any questions during your stay.

Getting there by car

From Rome:

From Rome Fiumicino go onto the via del Mare and head towards the Grande Raccordo Anulare. Once on the annello, head south towards Aprilia, Latina and Pomezia on the SR148. Drive around Latina, always staying on the SR148 until you get to Terracina, where you join the SS7 to Fondi and then Itri. This is approximately 150km and should take about 2 hours.

From Naples:

From Naples airport, join the Tangenziale or A56 and remain on it heading towards Pozzuoli, then turn onto the SS7, which takes you all the way to Itri. This is approximately 100km and should take about 1.5 hours.

By Train:

There are good connections from Rome and Naples to Itri and Formia.
