The main building and its dependence, few meters away, offer views of the scenic landscape from almost every angle. On the sweeping grounds of this region, nest to some of Europe’s best wine and food, there’s a swimming pool, a solarium and several alfresco areas with tables, chairs and sofas in style. A total of nine bedrooms decorated in classic style yet with colour- washed walls in pale shades, contemporary fabrics and several bespoke furnishing by local Italian artisans, feature a natural sense of elegance and tranquillity and accommodate up to eighteen guests, in this comfortable escape offering total privacy. The private grounds includes 15.000 square meters of gardens and land.

The home design, approached with research in the historical context, results in a traditional Tuscan style with stone, terracotta floors, quality washed wooden boards and marble. Vaulted wood-beamed ceilings lend a rustic feel to the interiors. Modern yet very comfortable, this is a chic retreat full of light and a welcoming vibe, maintaining all that exquisite simplicity and style that are the foundation to the beauty of this region’s architecture and is the perfect representation of Italy's renaissance esprit. Several close-by restaurants and trattorias serve organic, local cuisine. We recommend the traditional La Porta di Sotto nestled inside the nearest town Buonconvento. For those who prefer a local-chic atmosphere, the one star Michelin Osteria Perillà. Sneak to Biondi Santi for a wine tasting in Montalcino. We also recommend the traditional La Bottega del 30, in a tiny village in the middle of some of the finest terroir in the Classic Chianti region and it is in a rustic stone farmhouse which gives the feeling of dining in someone's home. There is no written menu and the chef will explain the options of the 3 set course herself. Gourmands won't miss the Michelin starred Arnolfo, surrounded by rolling hills, cypress trees and medieval fortifications, with a delightful panoramic terrace for summer dining.
