Located along the shores of Lake Como in the charming town of Lezzeno, Villa Il Gelso is a newly renovated Villa that promises the best of both worlds. Guests can enjoy the total privacy of being off the “beaten track” in Lezzeno and the luxury of having the town of Bellagio, known locally as “the Pearl of Lake Como”, just ten minutes away.

At Villa Il Gelso, guests can sit back and revel in their panoramic view of the lake, take a dip in their private pool or enjoy private access to the beach. The expansive garden invites guests to enjoy the magical views the property offers from the outside terrace and the furnished gazebo. The recent renovations have restored this luxurious property to its original 19th century charm. With three bedrooms, two suites, a private apartment, six bathrooms, an open-plan main floor, a newly refurbished kitchen and dining room, a spacious garden with a pool, personal beach access, a gazebo, an outdoor terrace and private patios, the villa comfortably accommodates up to ten guests.

VILLA ACCOMMODATION
The accommodations in the villa are located on four different floors. The property also includes a gazebo, two entrances, a pool, patios, a garden, an outdoor storage and bathroom area, private beach access and a terrace.

After leaving your car in the private parking area, a set of traditional cobbled stone stairs take you directly from Lezzeno’s main road to the entrance of Villa Il Gelso.

Second Floor: The main entrance opens onto the Villa’s second floor. Here you willfind the entrance to the lovely Begonia room on your leftand the luxury Azalea suite on your right. Begonia is a double room with a private terrace overlooking the lake. This room has a spacious closet and a full bathroom. Located across the hall from Begonia is the Azalea suite. Azalea is a private suite with a king size bed, a lounge area complete with sitting room and a TV, a balcony overlooking the lake, an original 19th century fireplace, a vanity area with an open closet and a full bathroom.

Main Floor: A flight of just eight steps leads from the second floor to the Villa’s main floor. This floor has private garden access, an open-plan living room, a newly restored kitchen with brand new appliances, a dining room and a private bathroom. From this floor you have direct access to the garden, the pool and the private beach area. Second Floor: On the second floor there is a beautiful penthouse with fabulous views of Villa Balbianello: the bedroom has a queen-sized sofabed, bedside tables, a hanging rack for clothes, a chest of drawers, a writing table and a chair. The full bathroom has a shower cubicle, a toilet, a sink and a bidet. Note that both the bedroom and bathroom on this floor have sloping wooden ceilings.

Third Floor: A flight of 16 steps leads from the main floor to the third floor of Villa Il Gelso. This floor is home to Dalia, a spacious double bedroom with a private bathroom, and Camelia, a suite with a king bed, a lounge area, a full bathroom and a private terrace overlooking the lake.
