Originally built in 1000 AD, Villa Il Santo has undergone a lengthy and meticulous building and interior restoration through its previous owners and todays. As a result, guests can a luxurious home away from home whilst soaking up the most extraordinary views to San Gimignano and enjoying breathtaking sunsets all from its unique hilltop location. The property has been completely restored using original terracotta flooring and reclaimed wooden ceilings and finished off with state of the art mod cons, the finest amenities, neutral, earthy, fresh tones and soft furnishings that combined provide a modern, stylish Tuscan home for our guests.

Outside, the pretty, Tuscan garden is filled with roses, jasmine and large pots of olive trees and are beautifully landscaped over terraced levels to create a variety of entertaining spaces to enjoy alfresco dining, aperitifs, sunbathing, morning pilates or relaxation. The stunning heated infinity pool offers beautiful views across the valley to with sun loungers and a cooling outdoor shower nearby. With easy access to the main kitchen the stylish outdoor kitchen at the rear of the garden provides guests with a BBQ and Fontana pizza oven and space for further dining.

Villa Il Santo is enviably situated, hidden on a Chianti hilltop yet only a short drive from key international airports in Florence and Pisa; close to some of the most beloved towns and cities of Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and San Miniato and just a five minute drive from the nearest ancient village of Barberino Val d'Elsa with its market, food provisions and selection of restaurants. The largest supermarket is situated just 10 minutes drive away from the villa.
