There are five double bedrooms at Villa Cala Jondal, each with its own ensuite bathroom. Decked out with expansive beds, luxury linens and a palette of whites and silvers, all look out through large windows over the lush, palm filled gardens. The master suite’s bathroom boasts a huge circular stone bath for long languorous soaks. Bedrooms all come with bathrobes, slippers and mini fridges for the ultimate in holiday pampering experiences

The living and dining spaces open right up to Villa Cala Jondal’s terrace and pool area. An eight-seat dining table and super modern kitchen provides all you’ll need for delicious meals – with a full time chef on hand to create them, of course, and everything else can be organised by your personal butler. Adjacent to the kitchen is a fully stocked bar just waiting for evening cocktails. A steam room and sauna keeps you looking fresh and there is also a private nightclub with professional grade lighting and DJ equipment – there’s really no need to ever leave Villa Cala Jondal’s luxurious grounds!

The living areas open out on to a circular cupola that crowns the infinity pool. Sunbeds, sofas and a dining table all sit under various terraces and parasols. It’s likely many of the daylight hours will be spent here; taking lazy dips, slow lunches and gazing out to the incredible view. A roof top terrace provides the perfect spot for evening cocktails, private sunbathing or a massage, should you choose to indulge.

Villa Cala Jondal is set up for major relaxation but if you can manage to peel yourself from your sun lounger there’s nothing like a private yoga session on the stylish wooden deck. The area boasts some of the best beaches in Ibiza, with your local being the famous Cala Jondal, with the iconic beach club Blue Marlin on its shores. Be sure to also check out Sa Caleta, Es Cavallet and Las Salinas throughout the week too. The shopping hotspots of Ibiza town are just a short drive away and a wander to the top of Dalt Vila to witness the incredible view from the ramparts is always impressive.

Villa Cala Jondal comes with a full time staff (housekeeper, butler, night butler/security). There is an alarm system to keep everything secure and air conditioning throughout makes sure the villa stays cool in the warm summer months.

Cala Jondal is the glittering jewel of Ibiza’s beaches. Brimming with a cool crowd who frequent the famous beach bars such as Blue Marlin and Tropicana, in addition to the excellent Ex Xarcu restaurant around the bay. Small and tranquil, Sa Caleta is surrounded by red cliffs and is home to one of the best seafood restaurants in Ibiza. Also close by is the capital of Ibiza’s beach scene – Las Salinas. This long stretch of sand is awash with families, locals, club kids, the A-list and a colourful parade of characters – a must visit, as is its neighbour, Es Cavallet for fine dining with the jetset.

Spending most of the day at the villa would be a dream come true, but for those who want to venture out and explore the island, the nearby ancient Phoenecian ruins at Sa Caleta are good for a history lesson or two, as is stepping through the medieval gates of the old town and strolling through the fortified walls. Ibiza town is just a short drive away and bursting with boutiques and cafes. Obviously, long lunches at the many beach restaurants in the area are a given – with El Chiringuito and La Escollera on Es Cavallet the top choices – and spontaneous beach parties are de rigueur.

Cocktails at Experimental Beach Ibiza are a definite must do for their unique flavours and finesse, enjoyed as the sunsets behind the impressive monolith of Es Vedra. Close by is Can Domingo, an Italian fine dining restaurant offering superb cuisine and a laidback, romantic ambience. The many wonderful restaurants in Ibiza town are worth a visit especially La Bodega for tapas in a charming ambience, or stroll up into the fortress and take your pick from one of the many alfresco eateries on the cobbled streets.
