This 8-bedroom villa was designed by Mexican architect Manolo Mestre in 2004 and has a lot of Brazilian and Mexican influences. This sophisticated residence with multiple levels and secluded hide-aways, located 300 ft. above the sea on seven acres of mature gardens, Yemanjá (Goddess of the sea to Brazilians) offers a serene paradise as ideal for island entertaining as it is for a family holiday.

The home has incredible sea views with its hilltop location, 300 ft above sea level. The villa consists of 19,000 square ft of space and boasts multiple levels, 3 pools, a private tennis court, panoramic sea views and a full team of staff.

Main House

Yemanja’s property includes a 5 bedroom main house, revolving around a majestic Mexican "palapa", with its long and sensual main pool, as well as a frangipani-shaded and shallower children's pool, many indoor/outdoor living and dining areas and a fully air-conditioned Media Room.

The beautiful tropical garden overflowing with lush foliage and sweet-smelling frangipani flowers, with its rock-lined dipping pool and cascading waterfall, provides the centrepiece from which the exquisitely appointed living room and 5 bedrooms radiate.

Delightfully classic furnishings, as well as original and charming ethnic pieces, abound and an easy-living style permeates the whole. The focal point, the majestic Mexican "palapa", with its soaring height and alluring palm fringe, frames the stunning panoramic views which wrap around the property.

The elegant media room is airconditioned 24 hrs a day and provides a quiet place in which to check emails, view films and television as well as relax while reading. A myriad of covered outdoor dining areas in which to enjoy delicious breakfasts, tempting lunches and delightful dinners. A colourful children's dining room, adjacent to the kitchen, includes a sitting area and flat-screen TV.

The Cottage

Nestled halfway up the driveway and fringed by a cluster of coconut palms, the delightful cottage awaits its lucky guests. A private 3-bedroom oasis, as comfortable and luxurious as the Main House. A beautifully furnished open-air living room, with plasma TV and music system, adjoins a fully-accessorized kitchen and snack bar area. The charming veranda, with its bamboo-caned canopy and bougainvillaea-twined columns, features a lovely dining table for tropical alfresco meals. The elegantly designed lap pool and cool plunge pool beckon from across the grassy lawn. The Mexican "palapita" gazebo and deck chairs promise many moments of total privacy and relaxation whilst the hidden tennis court, just down the path, awaits racquet enthusiasts.

Children's House

Children's bunkhouses, which comfortably and cheerfully sleep up to 16 children, and include a playroom with TV and a nanny's room.

Tennis

For sports enthusiasts, a brand-new tennis court with courtside viewing perch. Yemanja is a magnificent, zen-like retreat perfect for adult as well as family getaways.

The villa features 8 luxury bedrooms suitable for 16 guests. There are 7 king bedrooms one of which can convert to a twin and then the 8th bedroom is a twin room
