El Rancho Secreto is a beautiful beachfront vacation rental with staff located on the beautiful beach of Majagual, in Nicaragua. With 5 main bedrooms within the main house and 3 Casitas set in front of the beach, where you can have an entire family stay or friends and family and enjoy their own space. In total you have 8 bedrooms that open up the door to corporate groups, weddings, large family gatherings and so much more.

El Rancho is this special place, set on the shores of raw, undeveloped white sand beach of Playa Majagual in San Juan del Sur Nicaragua. Known to the locals as "The Secret Beach" Playa Majagual is the backdrop to this magical location. With over 120 acres of privately owned land, Rancho Majagual is woven into a blend of jaw dropping landscapes. Five hundred meters of pristine beach front; lush, green tropical gardens and acres of native jungle hardwoods, all filled with flowers, trees, monkeys and dozens of bird species. Gated, private and secure, this sanctuary offers guests the utmost privacy, security and discretion to let down their guard, and connect with their surroundings. Set amongst these natural surroundings, nestled into the trees you will discover;

Guests of El Rancho will enjoy access to the Club House - a large, airy, social hub with a vaulted palm roof is the perfect place for families and groups to gather for meals, cocktails, and fun. The Club House includes a large sitting area, dining area, bar, kitchen, and 1/2 bathroom for your convenience. Located right near the beach and only a few steps away from the Club House is the property’s large, infinity edge pool. Offering spectacular views and multiple loungers, we dare to suggest this might be the best spot to relax in all of Central America.

Our location is directly on Playa Majagual, our guests enjoy unparalleled beach access. The warm, tranquil waters of this protected bay are ideal for swimming, fishing, and walking at any time of the day. Located only a short walk from Playa Majagual are the two nearby beaches of Playones (Playa Matildas) and the famed surf spot of Playa Maderas. Staying here at El Rancho gives you direct and easy access to all three of the of the San Juan del Sur areas best beaches.

After enjoying the property solely as a family spot for well over a decade, we realized that the time had come to share this magical place with others. As life gets busier, and children get older, we wanted others to create these types of memories at Rancho Majagual to look back on.

When we first saw the property, it was literally love at first site. Even though the road here back then was nearly impassable, and the area considered incredibly remote, you can't fight what the heart wants, and the heart knew this place was meant for us.
