Luxury Lake Retreat, just outside of San Diego, a 5 acre sanctuary overlooking Lake Cuyamaca. The colors enrich and delight the palate; create an abundance of joy as you wander through and discover the over 13,000 square feet of total relaxation. We listen and we understand that quietude, meditation and nature bring the mind and body to a state of clarity, peace and wellbeing. We are more than a retreat center, we offer a beginning to a new and mindful way of living through various options including meditation, yoga, restorative healing, connecting with nature, as well as wellness and spa services.

We offer three rental options - 11 , 9, or 5 bedroom configurations with rates ranging from $8,000-$11,500/week. Six (6) bedrooms are have panoramic lake views with a terrace and outdoor seating. Each room has its own ensuite bathroom with shower, as well as hotel style amenities - coffee makers/ coffee/ charging station, antique designer furniture and plush beds and linens. The honeymoon suite - is more like a studio with a shower and spa bath, dining area and beautiful Tibetan style furnishing. The owners have meticulously furnished every room with ancient Buddhist art and sculptures reminiscent of the Buddha Bar Paris. We offer elegantly appointed suites that have breathtaking views of Lake Cuyamaca and Stonewall Mountain. Each suite has serene Buddhist art and design and wellness was mindfully created for wellbeing, restfulness, comfort and incredible value. Colors and textures are aligned with natural elements that exude a sense of inner and outer harmony, opening you to a new, yet still familiar - harmonious way of being.

Enter through our main lobby and you'll feel as if you arrived somewhere special, transported into India, where you'll immediately feel a calm come over you. Once you are inside you will see that your eye is taken to the lake, lake views as well as a lounge and library. The Retreat gives way to an open patio where you can sit and just enjoy the views and the beautiful wildlife that comes to visit. You will never go away feeling as if you've been somewhere "ordinary," this is absolutely never going to be one of those vacations.

Release, relax and let go with wellness curated treatments in our spa room. Detox tired muscles in our infrared sauna and jacuzzi. Forest Bathing invites you to journey deep into nature, to connect with the five elements and to journal your experience. The retreat center is surrounded by walking trails of astounding natural beauty. At 5000 feet, stargaze from your balcony and connect to the vast galaxy. Take in the lake from our outdoor jacuzzi, that has panoramic views of Lake Cuyamaca. Day trip to nearby deserts and hot springs with an organic picnic basket. Enjoy over 600,000 acres of hiking trails. Enjoy our bird and deer watching on our property in the early mornings. Challenge yourself and rock climb Stonewall Mountain, which the center overlooks.

We are only an hour away from San Diego international airport and two and half from LAX. We offer parking on the property as well. We are located directly across the street from Lake Cuyamaca Restaurant and 10 minutes away from downtown Julian. COVID Procedures:

To ensure our guests maximum health in addition to our standard protocols, we have implemented new policies and products that include commercial grade cleaners and antibacterial soaps (as well as pre-check-in sanitation and inspection of each room and all common areas). Evidence of a negative COVID test is required prior to arrival. Guests will enjoy contact free check in and keyless access. We follow CDC recommendations on cleaning and sanitizing- to ensure the cleanest possible environment for our guests. For safety and medical purposes we are within 1000 FT of the Fire Department with trained EMT and two helipads.

We offer a safe place to get away from the city and be socially distance. Anti-bacterial products are available in rooms and common areas. We are also partnered with Thistle, the Vegan Food Delivery company, that offers twice a week contactless delivery. Surrounded by over 39 hiking trails, lakes, mountains and abundant wildlife this is the perfect sanctuary for social distancing and meaningful quietude.
