The Temple House, Miami Beach, Florida Vacation Rental

The Temple House is a luxurious 13,100 square foot private residence and is the largest single-family residence in South Beach. Perfectly located on two adjacent lots only blocks from both shopping mecca Lincoln Road and pristine white sandy beaches, the building was originally designed and constructed in 1933 as a single-family residence by world famous Art Deco architect L. Murray Dixon.

Mr. Dixon’s architectural contributions include some of the most spectacular hotels in Miami Beach. Famous for his pioneering work which served as the foundation for the Art Deco scene, his unique designs include The Victor Hotel (1937), The Raleigh Hotel (1940), The Marlin (1939), The Tides Hotel (1936), The Senator (1939), and The Ritz Plaza Hotel (1940). His work is best known and recognized for its striking use of circles and banding.

In March of 2003, Daniel Davidson bought the property and began an extensive multi-year renovation in which all architectural features of the building were painstakingly preserved while still allowing the installation of completely new electrical, plumbing, air conditioning and life safety systems in addition to other substantial upgrades.
