The Lift Haus is a newly renovated 1,564 sq. ft. chalet with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. This 3 level chalet features its own private elevator with bonus stairs outside, reaching all levels! You will be amazed at the mountain views from the covered wrap around deck. Relish the sights of Kachina Peak, Wheeler Peak (the tallest mountain in all of New Mexico) and the top of Lift One while you revel in the warm Taos Ski Valley sun!

Located less than 1/2 mile from the downtown Village and the ski lifts, this Taos home is your ideal vacation getaway. With tons of winter activities such as snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, alpine skiing, snow-tubing and snowmobile tours, you'll never be bored in Taos Ski Valley!

In the summer guests can enjoy the covered wrap around deck with breathtaking views. Or if you are feeling a bit more adventurous, there are a number of hikes ranging from the difficult Wheeler's Peak to the more moderate Williams Lake Trail.

The first floor main entry features a comfortable ski room including boot warmers for up to 6 pairs of boots. This cozy room invites you in with a warm gas stove, comfortable seating bench, coat hooks and a ski/snowboard storage rack. Keep all of your ski and sports gear in one location! An interior entry into the one car garage is also on this level. There is room for one additional car outside.

The bedrooms and three bathrooms are on the second level. Two bedrooms have king size beds (or two twins) with en suite bathrooms and incredible views! The third bedroom has custom made twin bunk beds (4 beds total) each with its own curtain for privacy.

The top third floor features expansive windows with a panoramic view of Taos Ski Valley. There is a fully stocked kitchen (service for 8) with new appliances, a beautiful mesquite dining table that extends to seat 8, cozy sunken living area, unique live edge bar with 4 stools looking down into the living room and a laundry/half bathroom. A gas grill is located on the deck with comfortable outdoor furniture as well as a propane fire pit to keep you warm as you enjoy a nice evening of après ski.

Please note that The Lift Haus is located at a high elevation. Roads are well maintained in the summer and plowed in the winter; however, a vehicle with 4-wheel drive is required from November through April. Chains are highly recommended for your safety!
