Rumah Des Indes is a 6 bedroom villa near to Canggu on the South Coast of Bali. There are six bedroom suites with this large residence. Three of the bedroom suites are situated in the upper tier of the main house, two on floor level and the third master suite upstairs.

The two ground level suites have antique style Indonesian beds adorned with Egyptian cotton sheets, antique dressers to house belongings and walk in wardrobes. Original paintings by famous Indonesian and foreign artists adorn the walls. These bedrooms open out with sliding doors onto tropical gardens with outdoor lounges to allow guests a little private relaxation. Each suite has an en-suite bathroom in colonial style and outdoor garden features. The third bedroom suite in this luxury villa in Perenenan is very spacious and boasts serene panoramic views of the surrounding emerald rice fields. The entire upper level plays host to this suite with antique bed, lounges and en-suite bathrooms.

The Guest House also includes three bedroom suites, again with Indonesian antique furniture and art. Two of the bedrooms have en-suites and the third, smaller bedroom has an interconnecting door to the en-suite.

Rumah Des Indes has been designed for all forms of dining from the most relaxed dinner party to a formal event. The living and dining area, which opens out onto the pool below, includes a formal antique dining table. Several circular tables and chairs rest poolside for relaxed dining and there are further dining options on the decks overlooking the gardens.

Atmospherically lit at night, we love to set out banana leaf candle poolside and include traditional village dance performances into our evening’s entertainment! Dinner parties are our passion and we often host celebratory dinners for guests beginning with canapés and cocktails at sunset followed by a dramatic dance performance and traditional Indonesian Ristaffel buffet dinner.

The gardens and swimming pool of Rumah Des Indes really are a key highlight of this luxury villa in Bali. Starting from the grand entrance through the ancient Chinese Indonesian doors, the garden entices guests to meander through the residence and observe its fragrant offerings. The most beautiful birds and butterflies grace Rumah Des Indes with their daily presence and jewel colored dragonflies skim across the lotus pond.

The villa pool is organically designed to curve around the foot of the main house. Decks are both ends house relaxing tables, chairs and poolside lounges. With a twenty meter length, there’s no excuse for not getting a little active during your stay too!
